Second Week Activities of OLI Session

Students are writing reflection after each lecture, and mentors are meeting with the students each day to counsel with them and give guidance in their lives.

In a reflection, one student wrote, "Giving service in every moment of our lives is extremely important. When we do love the Lord with all our heart, soul, strength and mind then God's light shines through us in all that we do and even people of the world can testify to it. Also, we must have compassion for our fellow brothers, sisters and all human beings because we were all created in the image of God and as such are all children of God."

Afterwards, there was a time of preaching for some students who prepared for the session. Students took some passages which inspired them recently and also connected it to what they've learned during the lectures. It was a time where the students could gain courage and come to know the Word more deeply as they prepared for messages.

Staff at the Leadership Institute testified that the students' faces are getting brighter and they all look happy. The leaders and mentors at OLI are praying each day that the Holy Spirit would guide each student to help them grow to be great leaders.

Various team-building activities were held during the weekend of Olivet Leadership Institute, including a fellowship event by the park which includes sports, swimming, and picnic.
